I have done a lot of flights in my life and other than the Orlando International Airport in Florida, Seatac has to be one of the weirdest airports of all! I’ve seen too many! From a shootout outside the airport to the most wacky “brawl” inside the airport, I swear it’s always something! Earlier this month, TSA posted a hilarious video on their Instagram account showing a cube (or KUBE) of raw chicken on SeaTac’s baggage carousel. “Somewhere between the luggage and the carousel [the chicken] has gone free, ”TSA joked in a post deleted from Instagram. Internet users are quick to point out their disgust and empathy for passengers who have had to fish around the chicken for their luggage. “There isn’t enough Lysol and Clorox to clean up after this.”

The TSA then warned passengers traveling with meat that proper packaging is required for both carry-on and checked baggage. “Meat, seafood and other non-liquid foods are permitted in carry-on and checked baggage,” according to official TSA instructions for the carriage of fresh meat and seafood. Meat can be packaged in dry ice, ice or ice packs, says TSA – “but if ice or ice packs are used, they must be completely frozen at the time of screening,” said they continued. Since the pandemic, airlines have gone viral every week with crazy stories like one where a man was checked in to sit on a Spirit Airlines flight. According to the FAA, fines for unruly passenger behavior have tripled since the start of the year!

I don’t know if there is anything in the air, but if you are in the air, stay safe, mind your business, and secure your meat! What’s the craziest thing you’ve done or seen in an airport? Contact me on IG @BennettKnows!
